WordPress is more capable of running large enterprise sites than ever before. Multiple forms of content, page templates, taxonomies, user management, and the pluggable functionality make it a prime candidate for enterprise projects that require flexibility.

Softcom was just one of those projects. It wasn’t a site that needed a content management system — it demanded a certain kind of content management system. And WordPress (along with some help from myself) knocked it out of the park, no problem.
